Freycinet Walk & Wine

From AUD $94.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Coles Bay, TAS

After a relaxed briefing with your local guide and small group at the Freycinet Lodge, board our private vehicle for the short drive to the Wineglass Bay car park. This is where the walking chapter of the afternoon begins.

From here you'll journey on foot over the spectacular Hazards mountain range on a 45 minute gradual climb to the Wineglass Bay lookout. With each step you'll connect with Freycinet's local knowledge and interpretive storytelling, rewarded with picture perfect views of the magical Wineglass Bay and beyond from the impressive cantilevered viewing platform.

After a quick descent and short drive by private vehicle, wander down a sandy track to be astounded by the breathtaking beauty of quiet Honeymoon Bay. With views of Freycinet's jewel coloured waters and dramatic pink granite peaks, your guide will conveniently hand you a glass of sparkling wine and ask if you would like a freshly shucked oyster to accompany your grazing platter.

Feeling relaxed and more connected with your local surroundings, we will return you to the Freycinet Lodge where our tour will conclude.
